The Director General of Domestic Trade of the Ministry of Trade encourages the use utilization of the digital economy in the production sector to improve the efficiency and competitiveness of the national industry. This initiative aims to maximize the potential of digital technology in supporting sustainable economic growth. Oke Nurwan said, in order to create a fair and beneficial digital economy ecosystem for the Indonesian people, the benefits of the current digital economy need to be continuously improved and expanded.
In the future, the use and utilization of the digital economy must be expanded to the production and logistics side so that it provides wider benefits to society.

“Currently, the focus is still on consumption, namely speeding up and facilitating transactions and increasing access to information,” he said, Jakarta, Tuesday (12/10).
Oke said, stakeholders need to work together because the digital industry, especially in order to encourage the acceleration of digital UMKM, requires the role of various parties. Cooperation from all stakeholders, including from the community and business actors.
“This is necessary to ensure that all policies can be implemented properly so that national business activities are strengthened and have the opportunity to leverage national economic growth,” he explained.
